The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically skilled, an experienced storyteller, organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and must have a demonstrated ability of working with a global team to create dynamic content across various platforms for an international audience. This person should be passionate about all things virtual and augmented reality and have a genuine interest in the latest technology in this space. Additionally, this individual should have strong communication skills and the ability to deliver initiatives on time and on strategy.

Video Editor V
Summary:
We're looking for a Video Editor to join the Social team within Content Studio, with a focus on developing original content for the company's official social media accounts across a multitude of social media platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically skilled, an experienced storyteller, organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and must have a demonstrated ability of working with a global team to create dynamic content across various platforms for an international audience. This person should be passionate about all things virtual and augmented reality and have a genuine interest in the latest technology in this space. Additionally, this individual should have strong communication skills and the ability to deliver initiatives on time and on strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop original content for a variety of a mediums
- Edit short-form video projects
- Format video files for all Instagram app surfaces (including video, Reels and Stories) and all other social media platforms
- Apply design and motion graphics
- Ability to complete projects with quick turnaround times while ensuring high technical quality assurance for all project details start to finish
- Maintain organized documentation of workflow and assets
- QA content prior to final delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
- Visual portfolio of published work
- 6+ years of experience in a creative role with an emphasis on creating assets for social media
- Maintain awareness of current social media trends
- Expert at Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience working with multiple types of video formats including, mobile video, DSLR footage and cinema grade video
- Basic audio and sound mixing knowledge
- Proficient in basic color correction for photo and video
- Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with leading video review and collaboration platforms, including Frame.io
- Experience building working relationships with core and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing content for a branded social media account
- Experience in editing across multiple mediums: documentaries, short-form, narrative, music videos
- Experience with Adobe After Effects
- Experience working within a creative department that places priority on visual storytelling
- Able to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience working with VR and/or Gaming footage, 1:1 aspect ratios and variable frame rates.
